Kenneth Engblom was born in Stockholm in 1948. He studied  in the art school Idún Lóven in Stockholm, in the winter residence of  Erik Gyllensvärd on the island of Tenerife and in the art school of Sigfrid Grimma in Huddinge. After 25 years on Tenerife he returned to Sweden and has had since then several exhibitions in the gallery of Tersaeus in Stockholm, The House of Culture in Sigtuna and the Kraftverket Gallery in Mjölby among others. Since 1995 to the end of 2001 there was a permanent exposition of his works in the VIP rooms at  Arlanda airport. He has participated in a lot of  collection exhibitions including the well reputed  Autumn Exhibition 2002 at Väsby konsthall.  His works have been purchased by banks, churches, hospitals and companies as  The Bank of Sweden, SHL Medical AB, Skandia-if, Statoil, Polaroid etc. In  Estonia he has exposed several times at the Kastellaanimaja Gallery in the Edward Wilde Museum in  Kadriorg Park in Tallinn and in Tartu at the Museum Historicum Universitatis Tartuensis. For two consecutive years THE SWEDISH INSTITUTE granted him scholarships for his work in Estonia. In Spain he has participated in Gallery Ormolú in Pamplona.
